IBBK Fachgruppe Biogas offers a 4-day study tour with focus on various technical solutions by generating biogas from biowaste. The tour is taking place from September 26 - 29, 2011 and starts in Stuttgart.
The participants of the tour will visit planners of biogas plants, manufacturers of components and biogas plants as well as biogas plants with new or ground-breaking concepts or technology in Germany and Austria.

- Dry fermentation plant for digestion of energy crops, landscape maintenance residues and horse manure
- Manufacturer of CHPs
- Biogas plant for digestion of grass and biogas fuel station
- Biogas plant for digestion of food leftovers and organic waste
- Manufacturer of components & dry fermentation plant with fermentation of organic waste
- Lagoon biogas plant for digestion of energy crops and biogas upgrading (water scrubber) injection into into the grid
- Biogas laboratory
- Manufacturer of steel digesters
- Biogas plant with biogas upgrading (PSA) and injection into the grid
- Biogas plant with digestate drying by the use of CHP surplus heat in a solar supported drying plant and production of fertilizer pellets
The tour will end on 08 April 2011 in Stuttgart.
The Biogas Study Tour will be conducted in both German and English and includes sight seeing and cultural aspects.
