The international training courses by IBBK have been carried out since 2001 on a regular basis providing substantial information on all aspects concerning a biogas project. Many participants benefit from the long experience in biogas training of IBBK.

IBBK and its predecessor Fachgruppe Biogas in Weckelweiler, in person Michael Köttner, have been the first institutions in Germany to offer regular biogas training courses since the beginning of the 1990ies.

IBBK's Strength: Expert for International Biogas Training Courses

Regular workshops, seminars and training courses have been offered in English language for the first time in 2001. Long term German and international experts with profound knowledge on a specific subject have ensured a high quality training for operators and soon-to-be operators of biogas plants. Also many consultants, government staff, representatives of banks/ funding institutions, decision makers and staff from engineering companies have been trained by IBBK in Germany, UK, Canada, China, Mexico, Chile and Turkey so far.
