BioGasWorld 2013

Apart from the domestic German market, BioGasWorld has a special focus on the eastern European countries and had a large attendance of Polish visitors in 2012. This year we expect a numerous participation from the UK.

International AD Symposium 2013

BioGasWorld welcomes REA – the Renewable Energy Association from London as a new cooperation partner for the international biogas fair 2013. Questions about legal framework in Great Britain as well as marketing, project development and subsidies will be discussed at the fair.

REA was established as a not-for-profit trade association to represent British renewable energy producers and promote the use of renewable energy in the UK. The Association has a strong biogas group which is the most representative body of the British biogas industry.

Review BioGasWorld 2012

The first BioGasWorld was called „Biogas goes East“. This slogan will not lose anything in future in terms of relevance and sustainability. In many Eastern European countries, the general political conditions have already been created or are at the planning stage, with the aim of guaranteeing the decentralised generation of electricity and heat in rural areas, using biogas plants. For example Poland alone, the trade show partner country of the year 2012, intends to ensure the decentralised supply of energy from biogas plants in every village by the year 2020.

The IBBK Fachgruppe Biogas (International Biogas and Bioenergy Center of Competence) and the Fördergesellschaft für nachhaltige Biogas- und Bioenergienutzung (FnBB) e.V.  (German Biogas and Bioenergy Society GERBIO) present themselves with an exhibition stand during the BiogasWorld.

There we offer the following:

  • Information about our national and international biogas training courses
  • Information about our national and international conferences
  • Bookshop with selected German- and English-language books
  • Information about the FnBB/GERBIO-membership
  • Information about co-operation possibilities
  • Information about the EU project GasHighWay and about natural gas and biogas mobility in the participating countries
  • Information about the EU project BioEnergy-Farm and scans, whether a biogas plant can be profitable for you or not (You can also do the scans yourself online.)
  • professional journals
  • ...
