IBBK offers a 4 days study-tour, starting 04 April 2011 in Stuttgart, just afterwards the International Congress "Progress in Biogas II" at the University of Hohenheim, starting on 30 March 2011.
The participants of the tour will visit planners of biogas plants, manufacturers of components and biogas plants as well as biogas plants with new or ground-breaking concepts or technology in Germany.
The tour will cover the following topics:
farm scale biogas plants in co-digestion with energy crops, grass, chicken manure, cow /pig manure, food and industrial waste
heat utilisation
dry fermentation
biogas upgrading for injection in gas grid or use as vehicle fuel
communal biowaste digestion
solid biomass feeding
digestate treatment etc.
The tour will end on 07 April 2011 (final destination is not yet defined).
The Biogas Study Tour will be conducted in both German and English and includes sight seeing and cultural aspects.
