Michael Köttner

Michael Köttner is an Agricultural Biologist with more than 20 years of experience in the field of biogas.

Since 1992 he has been working as course conductor and instructor in adult education programmes, as well as a consultant focussing on biogas and renewable energies. He is founder of the German Biogas Association and was leading Germany's first Biogas Information Office in the Hohenlohe Farming College.

In 2001 Michael founded IBBK where he works as CEO and senior expert focussing on Biogas and Bioenergy Technology doing mainly consulting work and implementing one of Germany's first intensive training courses for biogas operators.

Due to IBBK's worldwide network and Michael's international activities and experience in European Biogas networks he additionally possesses good knowledge about biogas related issues (e.g. digester technology, legislation) in different European countries.

 

Achim Kaiser


Achim Kaiser has since 2001 professional experience with biogas technology.

He has excellent knowledge on technological issues of biogas plants and surrounding technology as well as on substrate handling. He has provided technical advice on several biogas and anaerobic technology projects in numerous feasibility studies and expertises and has preplanned biogas and bioenergy projects nationally and internationally. Since 2001 Achim Kaiser has been involved in the organisation of biogas and bioenergy conferences, training and schooling events. Due to his consulting and training activities he has numerous connections to biogas plant operators and experts. 


Dominik Dörrie

Dominik Dörrie is an international economist with focus on the renewable energy sector and has since 2006 professional experience within biogas industry.

After his graduation in 2006 he began to deepen his knowledge on renewables with specialisation on biogas. Due to rising energy prices and climate change he started for a while an energy consultancy in 2007. This was to consult about energy-efficiency as an economist. At the same time he got involved in the field of bioenergy by co-founding a local energy association that promotes and informs about firewood. In February 2008 Dominik joined the IBBK-Team as project manager and assistant. He is responsible for assessing the economical feasibility of bioenergy projects.
